One week to go

After all this time, there is only one week left until I'll have some pretty big changes in my life (surprisingly caused by something so little). Well, it could be a week, it could be less, it could be more (but not too much more), but soon we'll have a little baby in our lives to care for and raise. 


I'm really looking forward to it. 

Baby Update (20 week scan)

I had a day off on Tuesday so I could go along to the hospital with Liz for her 20 week scan (yup, she's 20 weeks, so half way through). Luckily, the scan wasn't as early as the last one, so we got what almost resembled a sleep in. 


We got to the hospital on time (despite getting a different bus than last time which went a slightly different route) and went to the scanning reception, which we now knew how to get to and told them we were here. We went to their waiting room (last time we went to the antenatal area) and waited to be called (they were running a bit late). 

Baby news

I have announced recently that my girlfriend is pregnant, but have not mentioned it in a blog yet. Not for any reason other than we didn't have that much to say outside the announcement. Now we know a bit more about what is going on, I do have more to talk about. 

First scan
